I was thinking… (no, it’s not a typo), when this website of mine makes me famous and I grow up to be just like Everaldo, maybe even more famous then him, think something like Bill Gates of web design, then my company that will worth “gazillions” of dollars will make a new web standard. A new HTML tag. The [e] tag.

This [e] tag, which obviously represents the “e” of my company name “Error, The” will forever change the < img > tag and the whole concept of linking images. The new revolution will occur and every single image link will have to be changed with the new tag, my tag. So what is going to be so special about this tag, you ask? Well, for the ordinary people, they won’t know the difference it will be all the same to them, but I didn’t invent the [e] tag to make a revolution for them, I made it so it will bring even more money to me. It’s just like Windows.

So, how is this [e] tag going to work? Well… I’m not sure how its going to work exactly, but by then I will have a lot of people who will be paid to make that work, so I won’t care about that, but that’s not the point, the point is… and, this is the best part… the point is that, when ever someone links some image and uses the [e] tag, I will automatically be richer for a dollar. So, “when ever you link an image, I get rich”, that will be my internal company motto. And I will have this cool control panel from where I can easily change how much I get when someone links an image with my tag. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but you won’t laugh when my evil empire…. I mean when my company, forces you… damn split personality… as, I was saying, my company will worth so much that everybody will have to agree to use all the crazy stuff that I make up. You know, stuff that everybody uses but nobody likes. Kind of like iPod.

Yes I know, I’m a genius, but that’s nothing new. The new stuff comes in my nightmares… I mean dreams… Yes, all my inspiration, all my genius work, all of this comes from my dreams. Sure you can call me [e]vil, but my dreams… you should see my dreams… there is this one dream with Pamela Anderson and Monica Bellucci, where I just stick… weeeell ok, that’s it for this topic, I will see you in another one of my adventures soon.

And for God sakes, buy a logo or something, help me build an empire!

What are subliminal messages anyway?

Here is a quote from Wikipedia:

“A subliminal message is a signal or message designed to pass below the normal limits of perception. For example it might be inaudible to the conscious mind (but audible to the subconscious or deeper mind) or might be an image transmitted briefly and unperceived consciously, yet perceived unconsciously. In the everyday world, some have claimed that subliminal techniques are used in advertising and propaganda.”

But do subliminal messages really exist, and most important of all, do they work? This got me thinking after a friend of mine showed me this cool banner:

So do they exist? Well, read on…

I recently noticed something on today’s CD’s, they all have a 52X sign that indicates the maximum spinning speed of the CD.
But, is this really just a innocent sign or does it contain some dark secret you can’t even imagine? Is it something more then just the CD speed sign? Let’s take a closer look:

Above is a regular CD, notice anything strange? No? Take a really good look:

Now who’s crazy? That 56X doesn’t look so innocent now, does it? Have a look at it again from another angle:

Could all this be some kind of a conspiracy? Mind control? Subliminal commercial for Durex?

So many CD’s, so many CD-Rom’s, so many questions, and yet so little answers… well maybe I didn’t answer the question “do subliminal messages exist?”, but at least you have something to think about. But don’t believe just everything you see or read because maybe after all…
